French Drain Concrete Cutting

Interior French drain systems are one of the most effective solutions for basement waterproofing, but they require cutting a trench along the interior perimeter of the basement floor where the slab meets the foundation wall. The typical interior French drain trench is 8 to 12 inches wide and runs along one or more walls of the basement, terminating at a sump pit. REDCORE cuts these trenches with diamond flat saws, producing straight edges that define the trench boundaries cleanly. After the saw cuts are made, we break out and remove the concrete, creating a uniform channel ready for the waterproofing contractor to install the drain tile, gravel bed, and vapor barrier. The clean saw-cut edges provide better bonding surfaces when the trench is later covered with new concrete.
